Does anyone remember that 'Mad About You' episode...

where Paul and Jamie were trying to sleep train their baby? The whole episode was one shot of them sitting outside their baby's room and she was crying and they would go in one at a time to soothe her and then leave again. All this sleep training talk made me think of it. I must have been only 17 or so when it was on, but I remember crying during the episode when Jamie started to cry about just wanting to go in the room and hold the baby.

I am not looking forward to sleep training.

Our mom's group had a guest speaker that talked about sleep yesterday.  And I TOTALLY thought of Mad About You, with the stroller on the treadmill, the 10 mins cab ride let's go through stop lights, etc.

Funny stuff.

I'm worried that my son is accustomed too much to white noise.  You put white noise and he zonks out in 2 seconds.  But what if there isn't white noise somewhere, anywhere, where he is and he needs to sleep...

I do not remember this episode, but this post totally makes me want to watch some episodes of Mad About You. I loved that show.

This totally.   The more noise the better for my little one,  I bought a white noise machine for her room for when we move her out of the pack n play
