They measured me with the tape and I was measuring 3 weeks ahead, so they ordered an ultrasound. The ultrasound showed he was measuring 2 weeks ahead, but they did not change my due date.
I'm 5'8" with an average build and my husband is 6'2" and very athletic, so the dr. said it is normal for our kid to be on the bigger end (67th percentile).
If I am still measuring ahead at the end of Nov they are going to do another ultrasound to see if maybe I need to be induced a couple weeks early. She doesn't want to induce too early if he's not ready, but she also doesn't want him to get too big for me to deliver.
You said your ultrasound was today, right? Good luck!

My u/s is on the 30th. It should be interesting to see what the baby is measuring.
