kids say the funniest things

So DS#1 is getting to the stage where he remembers things and can make connections. Last week I had a dr apt. and the dr was trying to hear the heart beat. I had to take the kids with me as DH had to work and our sitter was full. so Dr. was having trouble finding the heart beat cause LO was hiding. He kept finding my ligaments and blood flow. So DS pipes up and says "Do you hear that? That is my baby and it wants to come out" we both laughed and said, "well not really, it is still too early" we have told him (who is 3.5) that we keep the baby safe in mommy's belly so we dont lose it cause it is so small.

Lol. DD is 3.5, too, and wants the baby to come now. It's harder for her to wait than me!! She doesn't understand "next week" let alone "six months". Poor kid. I can't remember if I posted it on this board, but when she asked how the baby got in my tummy we'd told her Daddy put the baby in there. When she saw the u/s pic she said "Daddy needs to put some clothes in there, too, because that baby is naked!"
