I didn't even realize I was doing it all wrong. I cut the banana into 4 pieces longways so that it was easier to mush up and he's truly going to town with it. There is a mess everywhere (worse than with watermelon and cantaloupe) but he's having a great time!!
Anyone still use theirs? What's LO's favorite thing to eat in it?
Re: Bananas in the mesh feeder...
She takes anything in it, like its baby crack. I have just been cutting little chunks off the banana and putting in there. I do a lot of frozen things, last night we did a plum/banana combo. It is a guraranteed bath afterwards.
(jumping out from under my lurking rock)
How do you clean it??
Jules loves bananas but holy cow it's a disgusting mess to clean out of the feeder.
She really likes to sit in her high chair and chew on it. She has a pretty big gag reflex so she is nowhere near ready anything that might need to be really chewed or be bigger then puree going down.
I may just stick to mashed bananas and give her other stuff in the feeder
