can someone explain to me how the waivers work? i need a new kicker. I have been playing around with this some..DH does FF but not through yahoo and its a bit different.

if you want a new kicker

go to add a player, choose the kicker and it will have some initials next to their name, W = waivers and there will be date when player will be released to you, FA = they are available immediately

you choose your player and drop your player and go into waivers.  if someone else is trying to pick up the same player and has lower ranking then you they get preference

makes total sense.  i didnt mean to drop my kicker -- i wanted to add another one and dropped the guy who was my #1 choice, of course. I think i got click happy.

for those of you who have only 1 defense -- do you drop an offensive player when your defense has a bye? is it better to have more offensive players to choose from?

i only have 1 def, when my def has a bye i go into add drop and pick up another def, in beginning of season, i usually add/drop position that i am looking for, so pick up kicker, drop kicker, etc.  i am sometimes doing this every week.  once my team is more established and i see who i'm not using on my bench or i'm done with bye weeks i may change up who i am dropping.

A little late, but this was my best week ever (looking at how I did last year)!  So I am totally pumped!

My favorite team is the New Orleans Saints.  I grew up in Jacksonville (before they had the Jags), lived in Atlanta, New Orleans and Houston.  New Orleans is my favorite.  Their fans are so much fun.  It is always a party at the games.

I am trying to like the Texans since this is where we now live and will probably be here for a while.  It is hard, but they are playing better so it is easier to watch them and getting into the games.

And Worms, I am a little sad that you got Calvin Johnson this year and not me.  He played at Georgia Tech (which is where DH and I went to college).

and of course, my favorite team are the Steelers, hence the siggy
