My current beef is with people would don't understand bi-monthly & bi-weekly. One of my resellers sends out meeting requests for bi-weekly meetings. Except our meetings are twice a month....

Even our massive company's HR/payroll does it. They say we get paid bi-weekly. Really? I would love to get paid twice a week!

Haha, this. I've always said "We get paid biweekly" meaning every 2 weeks. I would say "We get paid semiweekly" if it was twice a week. But I think both ways are correct...our language is bizarre.

LOL.  What gets me is "irregardless."  It is not a word.

And I also thought bi-weekly meant once every two weeks   I actually have a meeting today which is held once every two weeks and my manager calls it our bi-weekly meeting.

Irregardless...gah! Also one of my peeves. FWIW I thought bi-weekly meant twice a week. I had no idea it could mean every two weeks. You learn something new every day.

A lot of people say "For all intensive purposes." It's totally "for all intents and purposes."  My students write it a lot, haha!

When I still worked I had to constantly go in and edit other people's notes because they were just ridiculous. One girl meant to write "customer is supposed to.." and wrote "costumer is apost to.." ::facepalm::

I'm not sure I would've even understood what she want to say. Amazing!
