Can anyone describe any differences in O cramps, period cramps, and whatever else that might be? We sort of got an early start on TTC, more like not preventing, but still charting so I am gathering info.
Anyway, when I was younger, I developed a cyst on my ovary and it would hurt like nothing I'd ever felt. Now I am having these random cramps. Period cramps are usually only a day or so before and only a day or so into AF for me. My cycles have been shorter the last few months (26 days). FF says I O'd on day 14. I'm 7DPO.
I know you ladies aren't doctors, just wondering what your experiences are. Is it possible for my temps to lie and these are O cramps? Or do people get AF cramps approximately a week early? I'm sorry if any of this is a newb post. I'm just tired of feeling like AF is on a never-ending visit. Also had bad acne all cycle, though it has been better since the supposed O date.

Re: Random cramps
Honestly, I always thought my cramps were relatively consistent... until I started paying attention to them while TTC.
Now I get all kinds of cramps, often at different and unexpected times in my cycle. There's the on-one-side O-type cramps; the twinge-y cramps that feel like they're below the ute, more down in the crotch; the pass-the-Tylenol period cramps; and the flutterings that I always hope is a little embryo burrowing down into my endometrium, even though I know better.
Oh. And then there are "burrito cramps."
What I'm trying to say is, don't read too much into it. These things can change cycle to cycle and even if you're consistent for a while, it might not last. And the feelings are certainly not consistent from woman to woman... so even if I documented my cramps in detail it wouldn't help you.
