DH has a certain person text messaging him all day, every day and we would like to make it stop without having to wage a full-on war with the person. The person's phone number is not blocked, but all calls go straight to voice mail. That seems to solve a lot of the calling issues, but the texting is insane. Is there any way to block text messages beyond calling the cell phone company and asking for the number to be blocked completely?
Re: Is there ANY way to block text messages?
Is there an option in the contact details in the text message to block the sender? (There is on my phone).
Also, with Sprint, you can text "Block *insert phone number here*" to 9999 and it will block all texts coming from that number. If you don't have Sprint, your provider might have a similar service.
