Do you get AF cramps

Good news is that I got my first post lap AF. Bad news is that I got the most painful and intense cramps I've gotten in a long, long time? I really just wanted to curl up in a ball and die (not really). Do you still get bad AF cramps where you just want to hole up?

ugh yes!! especially since I don't naturally have a cycle, mine are always medicated, and the last one, they had me on estrace for almost 5 months w/o a break, so that was the worst AF i'd ever experienced, horrible cramping! I actually stayed home from work the first day!

at least i work with all women, so they're a little more understanding than if i had to work in an office full of men lol

I had this same problem.  I had my first post lap AF last week and had the worst cramps I've ever had!  I told DH I would never have had it if I knew this was going to happen since I didn't have cramps before the lap.  I asked the nurse when I was at the clinic on CD3 and she said it's normal because even though you feel better, things are still healing and a little tender inside.  I hope it gets better for next time for both of us!

I've always had terrible AF cramps, but after my lap last year, the cramps seemed to ease up, but nonetheless, they are still painful.  I usually always stay home from work on CD1.

my cramps have actually been better since i've started cycling. 

but i had them wicked bad before so i totally feel for you!

yes, some months are worse than others.

use the heating pad, it helps 

and YAY for AF

this means you can get your cycle started!

Unfortunately yes...I haven't really noticed a difference in my post-lap AF cramps...guess I'm just one of those lucky gals who has awful cramps for no apparent reason

My horrible cramps started when I was about 14...uggh!  They were quite debilitating.  As I got older and the fibroids kicked in, they got worse - I mean crawl into the fetal position and suck my thumb kind of pain (really)!!  Since my fibroids have been removed, they are not nearly as bad.  I have found that 2 advils and a heating pad do the trick.

I am so sorry you have to deal with them too.

I'm quoting you all day!!  I do the same thing-2 advils, heating pad, and bed!
