Is it ok to give a teething baby celery? Yesterday we were out to eat and LO was fussy so we gave him a celery stick to chew on. He loved it, so I am just trying to see what others think...

The strings would be my concern so I'd put it in a meshy feeder.

yeah, be careful of those stringy things--- but I've heard of giving frozen carrots (the big size ones--not baby ones)--and they can gnaw on them.

I ALWAYS gag on the strings in celery myself, so that would be what I'd worry about.  Otherwise, I don't see why not.
