Ok so today JT figured out how to sit up from laying down. And now he's sitting in his crib when he should be sleeping. Will he eventually fall asleep? I'm assuming yes but I've been wrong before.
If he's anything like E, if you go lay him down he'll just freak out because you came in and didn't take him out with you. E flips over on her stomach, crawls to the side, and stands within seconds of me putting her down but she eventually get's tired and lays down. Just give it some time

So my next question is how much time? He's been in there for 1 hour now. No crying or anything...he's laying at least, but clapping his feet and rolling all over.

Sorry this is late but I usually leave Emalyn in there for about 45 minuets if she's still all over the place and give her some more time before putting her back down. Did you at least get a cute video of him rolling around and clapping his feet? It sounds like it would be adorable!

No but I will next time. I never think to pull out the camera until it's too late! I gave him 1h 20 mins and then took him out...then he fell asleep about an hour later for almost 20 minutes. Oh well! Guess this is what happens when they are discovering new things.
