Cervical polyp during pregnancy?

Anyone experience this? I was told today I have a large polyp sticking out of my cervix which is causing my spotting. They do not remove during pregnancy as it probably goes up the cervix. I also had one during my first pregnancy and was told by different doctors that they don't recommend removing during pregnancy either. Anyone have this? I googled today and it looks like some have them removed while pregnant and others don't. There is also a risk of infection either way apparently. Please share if you have any experience with this. Thanks!

I am a lurker, but I had a benign cervical polyp during my pregnancy.  My doctor did not remove it b/c he didn't want to risk anything happening to the pregnancy, and it went away on its own after awhile.  It scared me a lot because it caused quite a bit of bleeding, but was it was harmless.

I also had a polyp while pregnant.  It actually took a while for the OB to actually see it, and then we attributed it to the spotting that I had.  My OB said it was barely hanging on and that if I wasn't pg she would have removed it.
