Anyone else rushing around?

Maybe it is because this is my first baby, but I feel like I am going insane trying to figure out what needs to be done before the birth.  OR, maybe it is everyone stressing me out about it!  Everyone keeps telling me I will have no time to do anything so even Christmas is stressing me out.  Shopping, beading (I am making jewelry for my family), etc.  I mean, I will have time again someday, right?  People make me feel like I will never leave my house again...

Wow, I haven't even thought about Christmas. I think we will do a secret santa this year. I'm definitely not stressing myself out! I'll have a 7 week old by then, people will have to understand!

Oh gosh...I didn't really think about Christmas...I guess she'll just have to learn the fine art of shopping early!!!!

Dont' stress!!!   Just do what you can, people will understand that you have a baby..

I'm not too worried about it...

I had my DD at Target at 1 week old. The younger they are the easier they are to shop with....not the case with toddlers!!

I wish I was rusing around. I am doing the complete opposite and doing nothing which is making DH oh so happy.  I can't nest cause I'm moving and I just keep thinking we won't be here anyway whats the point.

Agreed. I started taking DS out when he was just a couple weeks old. Granted, it was spring, so the weather was warmer. It's so easy to shop with an infant!

I'm not really rushing around about anything, especially Christmas.  I would hope that people would understand that Christmas is not going to be the same this year!  Who knows, give me a few more weeks and my answer would probably change!

Me.  I felt cramps this morning and it got a fire under my a$$ to finally pack my hospital bag.  I still have stuff I need to go out and buy for it...sigh.

I'm having the opposite advice from moms..... that I will have time and energy to do stuff after the baby arrives.  They always act like I'm being silly for worrying about it.
