How do you ladies feel about picking a unisex name and using it either way? Currently we are thinking Preston Edwin John for a boy or Preston Lilly for a girl.
I love some unisex names, it just depends on the name. For me Preston is a more masculine name, and Presley is more of the feminie version of that. But if you love it, you should use it!

I love unisex names, but I don't think I have ever seen Preston for a girl. As far as Lilly goes. Love it! If I had not named my dog Lily, that would be on my girls list
I'm okay with unisex names (DD= Reese) but I don't think Preston is unisex, it screams male to me.
I agree with PP, to use Presley for a girl or skip the Preston thing all together and use Lilly because that's a beautiful name.
Also Preston Edwin kinda rhymes and sounds weird together. I'd mix that up and do Preston John Edwin (which will never fit on a form he needs to fill out) but I assume it's two family names?

I too think Preston sounds sort of masculine, but then again, I think it can be whatever you want, and I think a more masculine name on a girl is workable, as opposed to a feminine name on a guy.
In my 8th hour class I have an Evan, a Tyler, a Devyn, a Bailey, and a Alex: all girls. To me, some of them are more masculine, but the girls are making them work!
