Doc visit

I am having my first doc visit tomorrow and they are doing an ultrasound and said we should be able to hear the heart beat.  I will be 6 weeks and 3 days tomorrow. I am so excited, but so nervous too since my hubby is out of town.  My sister is going to go with me.  Anthing I should expect or know not to panic about?  Any questions I definitely should ask?

I don't know about questions, but make sure you drink a lot of water before your visit so they can measure acurately. GL!

They'll do a pap smear if you havnt had one in a while. They'll also ask about family history of medical issues for both you and DH, so if DH isn't going to be there make sure you ask him ahead of time if theres anything in his family you arn't already aware of.  They'll send you to a lab for blood work. THey'll have you PIAC. they'll do your weight and BP. They'll probably give you lots of paperwork and pamphlets. Ask any questions you might have. No question is "stupid", they've heard it all before.
