Hi There,
At the end of July my RE started me on synthroid since my TSH was higher than he likes to see for TTC. I believe in July I tested at 4.7 and positive for thryoid antibodies as well. When I went back 3 weeks later I tested at .77.
Since then, in Aug I am pretty sure I didn't O as I never had a +OPK and I also developed a huge cyst. This cycle I am on CD18 with no sign of O and also have very flat temps like I had last month which is strange for me. Can anyone provide any feedback? Doc didn't seem concerned with the .77 TSH, but could it be too low and if so could a low TSH mess with O? I have been tracking for a long time now and always get a +OPK.

Coming from someone who has serious thyroid issues- do yourself a favor and go see a regular endocrinologist. They can coordinate with your RE, but you really should see a regular endo. GL to you.
This! And to answer your question, thyroid issues CAN interfere with ovulation. Both Kathy and I have major thyroid issues and let me tell you, if you feel something is wrong and your Dr doesn't seem concerned (and you are having symptoms of an out of whack thyroid), go see a specialist!!! Now! don't walk, run!
Not only can thyroid affect your fertility, but in Kathy's case, it ended up being cancer. In my case, my TSH has been really high for over a year and we keep changing my dose and it either bottoms it out or does nothing. Very frustrating! Especially when I feel like once we get this under control, I WILL get pg.
