I don't know if anyone has any tips/suggestions for this. Last Oct. I gave birth to my ds, he was a micropreemie at 24 weeks. He eats every 3 hours and has reflux (not an easy feed). I know when dd comes home she will be eating every 2 hours (typically) for awhile.
Do any of you moms have a tight feeding schedule? I don't know how I am going to manage dd's feeds when ds is so high needs. TIA
Re: 2U1 Feeding ?
My LO ate every 2 hours in the beginning. It was manageable with my older one. How I did this was I'd sit baby in my oversized recliner and feed baby with one arm (you can do this if you're either FF or BF). With my free arm, I'd snuggle DS, read him a book, sing songs, etc. If he was really fussy, I threw on mickey mouse clubhouse and it would buy me 20 minutes to feed DD in peace. In those early days, he watched a lot more tv than I care to admit, but we all lived to tell the tale. You will too.
