Need to find a new OB/GYN in Spring

My Husband and I just moved to the Spring/Tomball area and I and looking for a new OB/GYN. I have been TTC for over two years without any luck and need someone who treats inferitlity as well would be best. At this point any suggestion would be helpful. Right now I feel so confused after reading some of the review sites.

Re: Need to find a new OB/GYN in Spring

  • The Woodlands OBGYN in The Woodlands is great.  I see Dr. Raj Syal.  I also went to Houston Fertility Institute in The Woodlands and did IVF with Dr. Jimmy Gill.

I know some one she is helping with infertility but if she can't help you, like PP, I'd suggest Houston Fertility Institute...I used Dr. Griffith at the Willowbrook location, but did not have to do IVF.

While I agree that the doctors here are some of the best, they probably have the longest wait times to get in for appointments and wait times at the appointments of any office in the woodlands area.   Holly Westmoreland was my doctor with DS, Syal delivered me.  I decided to switch this time around.

I'm going to All About Women, seeing Tara Winkelmann.  The other doctors in that practice, specifically Dr Richter Werning, are always recommended when people ask this question.  I've never been in their office for more than 45 minutes including having an ultrasound or blood work.  So far so good.

Women's Healthcare Affiliates has also been recommended to me.  All the doctors are men if that matters to you.  https://www.wha-obgyn.com/  My sister in law, her sister and at least one of my friends see Dr. Giannotti and LOVE him.  I couldn't get on board with a male doctor, not sure why I'm so weird about that, so that is why I didnt go there.

I don't know many that aren't in The Woodlands, I'm sure some of the Spring/Tomball girls will respond with their recs.

edit: totally overlooked the infertility party.  I'm sorry you are dealing with this... not sure any the above specialize in that.

  • Dr. Dorothy Roach at the North Houston Center for Reproductive Medicine. https://www.nhcrm.com/aboutus.htm It didn't take me long at all to get in. I also see Dr. Knight for my prenatal care. https://www.healthgrades.com/physician/dr-louis-knight-xflql/

I also use Houston Fertility Institute. I go to the one of Fondren because it is near my work, and occassionally do labs at the one in Willowbrook cause it is near my home. Dr. Williams is my doctor and he is great. I LOVE the nursing staff! They are very caring and responsive. I had two IVF's and both resulted in pregnancy, though we lost the first at 5 weeks. This one is strong though! :) I am actually sad that I can't stay with HFI through the whole pregnancy because I love the nurses so much.

The OB that I used for C is no longer practicing, I think. I know she is no longer at the offices I went to for that pregnancy. However the OB I used for A was fantastic. I loved Dr. Giannotti.

I see Dr. Reeves but have seen all the doctors at this practice at one time or another (at the hospital during post delivery days) and all seem very nice!

As for IF issues.  Dr. Dorothy Roach at the North Houston Center for Reproductive Medicine. https://www.nhcrm.com/aboutus.htm .  Like a previous poster got an appointment soon and didn't have to wait long at all during any appointment.

We saw Dr. Gil at HFI but didn't like him!  Loved Dr. Roach!!!

    Good Luck...
