airing out the bum...

I saw on a post below that fitteds worn without a cover help to air out the bum... is this true? If so, I really want to get fitteds! This has been on my mind lately, the fact that Lo is constantly in a diaper, it would be nice for him to get some air to it without risking a big accident haha.

a fitted or PF w/o a cover would allow it to air a bit, but not like nakie time

Yep.  Totally true, and is one of the reasons I love fitteds (the other being the cuteness factor of all the different prints).  We use them overnight with wool to let her bum breathe as well as coverless during the daytime.

Tummy time is good nakey time provided naked doesn't really piss off your baby(many newborns hate it). Just lay down a couple of PFs under them and play away.

I had to giggle at your choice of words, as DS doesn't seemed ot get pissed off, just piss.

I lay out a thick blanket (usually fleece since it doesn't soak up the liquid as much...may as well use them for something as he can't sleep with all of the blankets we received for a long time) on his play mat, and put a few PFs under his bottom and legs, and he plays away for up to half an hour.  He always seems to scoot just out of range of the PFs though when he pees though.

We have naked time every morning, she's on the floor on her changing pad with a towel under her...she love it and stays like that for up to 30 min! No toys needed We've also started to use fleece at night.

haha I wish my son could too. He tries to though. He is fast, but I'm faster.
