First roller-skating birthday party today

DD had a total blast and did amazingly well roller skating today. She fell a bunch of times, but got back up quickly and had no tears.

I am nursing a giant knot on my leg where a kid crashed into me. It's already bruised and hurts like a mofo.

DD had such a good time, she wants her birthday party there.

    Glad to hear she had fun! We're having DS's party at the ice rink, and I worry how the kids that have never skated will do.

    I was surprised at how well my DD took to ice skating. Kids are amazing!

    Didn't know beforehand, but one mom told me that you can apparently lock the skates so they don't turn/spin so fast. Remember that.
