Are probiotics safe while nursing?

My LO is 6 mos. old and I have had many years of tummy troubles.  Someone suggested pro/pre biotics.  I was just wondering if anyone else has used these while nursing.  If they're safe, and which should I use.  I'm going to call our pedi, but I'm so new to all of this stuff I don't know where to start!

    Yes, they are fine for you to take.

    I find ALIGN to be the best probiotic out there. It's expensive though...

    You can def. take it while nursing, formula now even comes with probiotics.

    I take probiotics that were recommended by my naturopath. Totally ok while bf. LO is also on a powdered form of probiotics.
