birth announcements

what's your go to source for ordering prints for announcements, christmas cards, etc.  i'm wanting to go the cheapest route, but also wanting them to not look cheap :)

Re: birth announcements

  • I originally wasn't going to purchase birth announcements, but I received at $20 credit/coupon type deal in a bag after making a purchase at Motherhood in Carmel. I'm hoping that will cover much of the cost, as I only plan on getting them for immediate family and possibly a few friends. It might be worth checking in to in case they are still passing out those bonus baggies with purchases :)

     Coupon was for Shutterfly.com!

  • We got ours through Tiny Prints. It's not the cheapest, but the quality is great. Plus, we didn't send many out...just family and a few close friends, so we didn't have to order many which cut down on the cost.

  • I go with whoever is having a deal at the time. I've used Shutterfly, Mixbook, Tiny Prints, Walgreens, etc.

    I saw this...

I used these for DD's announcements. I was a little disappointed they weren't glossier, but for the price I couldn't beat it. They were 2 sided as well which allowed me more room to add pictures.

  • I used less ordinary designs on etsy. I think it was $15 for her to make it then I used a photo shop for 15? prints.

  • We used Tiny Prints.  The quality was great and I had a coupon from Real Simple (I think?).

  • I used Shutterfly. I've used them for photobooks, announcements, and print orders. I like how easy it is, and was surprised at their turnaround time.
