Happy Saturday Ladies!
Do you have a nursery theme yet or are you waiting until you find out the gender of the baby? (If you are)
We're waiting for the gender but my word. I've been on ETSY this morning and there are soo many cute ideas and decor items... I can't wait to get this party started!!

Just one of the many things I've found...
Re: Do you have a nursery theme yet??
I think I am going with a bumblebee theme because I love bees.
I like this nursery set (it's called Bumble) by Carter's, but I know that themes and bedding sets change often. I'd just like something similar with similar colors (even if we have a girl... I don't like pink).
Or else maybe a baby quail theme. Quails are my spirit animal.
We were Team Green with my DS, but I still had a lot of fun decorating GN.
This time we're finding out, so I will wait until then to pick out bedding, paint and what not.
I love bee's too! Quails would be really cute also! They are all so very cute...
You could totally use an Owl theme with boys or girls... Just change up the colors of the accents!

I have my heart set on Classic Winnie the Pooh (not Disney Pooh). I think it works for both a boy and girl.
Dewey will be sharing his/her room with my SO's 9 year old son, so even if it's a girl, I can't get too girly (as sad as this makes me). We have a lot of great ideas on how split the room in two, but I still want to make sure Tyler isn't walking through a room of pink to get to his stuff.
I *really* love Pinterest!
For some reason I can't get excited about a theme, but I do have colors that I love. I'm pretty set on some combination of red/white/aqua (turquoise, whatever). This is the only thing we've bought so far- a rocktopus! I got it on Zulily and I'm kind of obsessed.
This is amazing!
I *really* love Pinterest!
High five!

I had my heart set on owls (using the skip hop treetop friends bedding) but was entertaining the carter's bee. Then DH and I were shopping and went to pottery barn kids and saw this: https://www.potterybarnkids.com/products/eric-carle-nursery-bedding/?pkey=rromnurecl
He loved it and I think it is so colorful. We weren't planning on using any bumper so it was more cost effective to get this set and the sheet is pretty much the coolest part and what you would mainly be seeing in the crib anyway. We are getting a plain yellow crib skirt instead to tone down the blue. We did get the quilt but I've always loved blue so I think it's still pretty gender neutral. I remember my nursery (because of my baby blanket) and the room was yellow but I had a blanket that was mainly blue with elephants and other circus animals.
I know everyone is different but once you have a girl or boy people will buy you so much pink or blue stuff that it seems like it would be refreshing to not have the whole nursery along one of those color schemes.
OHHH this is super cute! I like it a lot!
Girl: Cherry blossoms. I already fell in love with bedding for that.
I want a gender neutral room. I don't know the gender yet. We decided on an aqua paint. When we know the gender I might add a few gender specific things, but overall, its neutral. I figured when we have more kids we can reuse the things we have like the bedding and bigger things. We're just frugal.
We decided on just a colorful room.
We won?t be doing a nursery. Baby will be in our room for a good while (my son slept with us until he was 2 and then moved to his own room) and will then probably share a room with my son. Our house has three bedrooms, but one is on the ground floor and is used as a play room. We will save a ton of money on furniture because we don?t use a crib, my son?s dresser is also a changing table so I?ll just put the changing pad back on, and I already have an extra chest of drawers in my son?s room that is empty. I got to do the decorating of the nursery with Cash, and that was fun, but he spent very little time in there so I?m not too sad about missing out on that this time around.
