So now that Will and Dash are pushing 1.5 years old, I'm starting to get my azz in gear to lose the baby weight. Yeah, I know, about time.

Anyway, I have mumblemumble pounds to lose (let's just say...not insignificant multiples of 10, m'kay?), and today I was mulling over how I will reward myself when I reach my healthy size goal. Other than living longer, feeling better, yadda yadda yadda. And then it hit me! The Boots. THE Boots. The insanely expensive ones I've been lusting after for over a year - Ralph Lauren Sahara Riding Boots:

 

I simply CANNOT BEGIN to tell you how in love with those boots I am. *swoon*

So tonight I went to a few sites to scope out the price again, and...they're gone. I know they were from a few seasons ago, but come on! Look at them! So pretty! But no. No one stocks them any more.

There are these (which lack the second strap and have a vertical seam on the outside of the boot):

 

And these (which is cheaper Lauren, but I dislike how the vertical strap appears to go under the sole instead of behind the heel, as well as the textured sole itself):

 

But neither is quite the same. And now I am sad.

Please post pictures of pretty things you want or have bought recently to make me feel better. I need eye candy.

I LOVE those first boots! That's a bummer you can't find them anymore

I've really wanted a nice watch like something below. I know I'm behind in the trend, but I still like it. I just can't justify $500 for it. Oh well...

love the first pair.  agree the next are not nearly as nice.  i'm sad for you!   

there's nothing much i really want these days - I seem to only buy things for E now   i think if anything, i'd want to remodel our basement and our 2nd bath more than anything else.  and that's well, lots and lots of $$$$.  sigh.

hi ladies-i lurk on the board from time to time just to see how you are all doing....lisa you totally crack me up.  If I were there I could help you make a long full list of pretty things to purchase-but then again i am like a bird-oh look shiny object.....i just purchased this dress

I also purchased a black leather very fitted short sleeve dress that i cannot find a picture of....now of course I am not allowed to gain even a pound which gets harder and harder when you get older
