f/u to stuffed dogs (and a useless poll!)

Thanks for all your thoughts/opinions below! The sock dogs (either etsy or blabla) were my favorites buuuuuuuuut...when we were out shopping today, I finally found some stuffed dogs in a store. There were some semi-realistic ones and some stylized ones as well, so I showed both to the boys to gauge their reactions.

They were interested in the stylized ones, but then I held up the more realistic, furry kind and omg - "Gog! Gog! GOG! GOOOOOGGGGGG!!!" with lots of pointing, and then when I handed them over, lots of hugging and patting and kissing. So even though I'd prefer the sock or knitted dogs, I think we'll have to go with the furry ones!

It's been narrowed down to these three - we're definitely getting the first one (it's the closest I could get to a yellow lab, which the boys are partial to because of our very loving and extremely patient lab/kelpie cross), and out of the second two, Ben likes the beagle and I'm leaning toward the pug. The beagle looks like it has longer, more stroke-able fur, but the pug is so cuuuuute! I think we'll probably end up going with the beagle, but feel free to take sides in the poll.

I honestly cannot vote.  They are both so adorable!  I keep changing my mind.  Do you think it might be possible to get one of each or will they need the same?

they are both cute so i can't decide.... and i think you should probably get 2 of each just in case.... that way if they both decide they have to have the SAME ONE then you are ok.... and even if they don't, then you have a back up in case the original gets messed up
