The images, the horror stories...the footage of that day glorify the attacks, they keep putting the terrorists front and centre. Their plan. Their 'glory'. I imagine that terrorist cells watch American tv very closely every year to relive that day.
9/12 should be the day. The day New York City picked itself up and started rebuilding. The day that grieving families reached out to each other. The day that the free world looked terrorism in the eye and said "you missed".

Well, I think Canadians should stop saying "aboot" instead of "about," but I don't feel the need to announce it in public.

Some of us need it. And we need it to be on 9/11. Not 9/12.
