When did things "settle down"?

Anyways, so our divorce was just final on 8/29 and leading up, during, and now after the trial the texts have been getting really annoying, mean, abusive, etc. I was just wondering if/when that type of thing settled down for you all post-trial/CS/final papers etc?

In my case, shortly before our divorce was final XH realized that HWW was a skank, and he gave up an awesome family for a skank.  There were a couple more drunk months after that, and once he stopped drinking so much he was fairly reasonable and we've been getting along since.

Also, once the child support garnishment process was in place.  That was about six months after the divorce was final.

It took about 18 months after we split, and about a full year after our divorce was finalized.
