Whats going on with my nose?

In the recent weeks I've had to blow my nose wayyyy more than I have in my life.

Is it just me or is pregnancy causing a lot of boogies? Anyone else?

IUI#1 - 05/20/08 = BFP! M/C - 14 weeks :( baby girl
IUI#2 - 01/07/09 = BFP!!! Twins!! Pre-term labor 20 weeks :( lost twin girls
IUI#3 - 1/31/10 = BFP!!!! M/C - 8wks :( again
IVF #1 - 7/2010 = c/p
FET - 9/2010 = another c/p
IUI#4 - 2/14/11 = BFP!

    Me too!  I read that its common to increase all mucous membranes (especially in 3rd tri)!
    TTC since April 2009 dx = PCOS; TTC History for DS - A FET miracle after 7 IUIs; 2 fresh transfers, and 1 other FET resulted in BFNs. Hoping and Praying for baby #2: Cycle 1 - FET; November 2012 BFN Next Steps - who knows? Lilypie Second Birthday tickers

    yes! i have been having major sinus issues during pregnancy. your membranes become very sensitive due to all the hormones.

    we go through a lot of kleenex!

    Yep, I got it too. It's caused some nose bleeds too. Of course we are in the middle of a huge drought so the dirt bowl could be causing some of it too.




    4 Clomid cycles BFN's,3 injectible cycles BFN, 3 failed IUI's
    Hystroscopy to remove cysts 11/2010
    IVF #1 with ICSI Graydon Dane born Oct. 23, 2011 via c-section at 38 weeks.
    Surprise BFP 10/9/12. Blighted ovum at 8wks. D&C 11/1/12.
    Surprise BFP#2 TWINS!!! Boy/Girl twins.

    Yup.  That happened to me too.  My nose was a faucet from about 6 weeks, I got a sinus infection at 14 weeks and after that I was congested until 6 weeks pp.  It's all the extra fluids and everything. 

     

     

    dx PCOS on Metformin
    LO#1 - 19 cycles, 3 IUIs, 1 m/c, gonal-f, ganirelix, ovidrel, progesterone
    Totally worth the wait!

    Back on Met, PCOS diet, prepping for treatments 1/12

    I have a major case of the sneezes ... even my husband said to me this morning "this is new isn't it?? You didn't used to sneeze like this!"  But so far it's held to just that, sneezing.  I've heard it's very common though.

    count yourself lucky!!  I have been having nose bleeds this whole time - probably about 1 per day up to like 8 in one day on occasion!!!  Id rather it was boogies!

    Yup! Throughout most of my pregnancy. Especially every morning when I wake up and I have had blood come out my nose a lot more (not serious bloody noses but when I blow my nose). I heard it's common.
    TTC since November 2009. DH diagnosed with sperm antibodies. IUI #1 = BFN IUI #2 = BFN On the road to IVF.... Egg Retrieval Jan 21, 2011 16 eggs retrieved Egg transfer Jan 26, 2011 Only 2 viable eggs transferred. 1 IVF, 1 ICSI IVF #1 = BFP :-) 10/3/11 No heart beat at 38 weeks: Our baby Jack became an angel 12/14/11 = natural BFP Rainbow baby Samantha Jacklyn born8/8/12.     This! And your immune system is suppressed so you're more prone to allergies/colds/etc! Mine has been awful!!
