I haven't been around thanks to the flood of '11

So I have been totally MIA the past few days thanks to the flood in central PA. At one point our basement had 4 feet of water in it. On top of all that I have been working ten hour days at the station because we have been on air pretty much 24/7. It has been complete madness, but truth be known I love the work part. It doesn't seem like things will be any easier for a while since we will be cleaning up for a while. Too bad insurance won't cover any of this, but our damage isn't nearly as bad as some people.  Here are some pics of what we were dealing with.

That fence is 6 feet high. And this isn't even at it's highest, the water eventually got to 5 feet back there.

At 1am the fireplace in our backyard was totally submerged, couldn't even see the smoke stack.

And out basement after the water receded:

And if you made it through all of that here is your reward, our new puppy Winnie!

Wow, that is crazy, hope you are able to get back to normal soon!

And OMG what a precious little face!  We have two boxers as well, one reverse Brindle and the other a fawn, both with all black masks, white paws and white on their chests as well... Love boxers, they are the best.  Is yours pure or a mix? and how old?!
