Cant keep anything down!

I went to the doctor about 2 1/2 weeks ago and learned I lost 4 lbs. The week before I went I was throwing up everyday, sometimes 2-3 times a day. My doctor told me she didnt want me losing anymore weight and to try eating light foods and see if that helps. Well I have not been throwing up everyday, more like every other day or every two days but in my eyes thats still alot. Im starting to get scared that my baby is not getting the proper nutrition that it needs.

Has anyone else experienced this? The way things have been going Im sure I've lost more weight and I have no clue what to do.

Re: Cant keep anything down!

  • This was me with my first pregnancy.  My doc told me tht if I was keeping down water and the occasional pnv, it was alright.  But check with your doc if you're worried.  Feel better sweets!

  • This is me right now, and I am 14w3d. I have the same worries, though I haven't been tracking my weight loss. I had an allergic reaction to Zofran, and Phenergen does absolutely nothing for me. I, too, am worried about my baby. My anemia doesn't soothe my worries either. I just try to eat lots of small meals, thinking I can't throw up 8 times a day, right? So 2-3 times, and I can keep the rest down. Trying to double my fluid intake, but it is hard when you feel so nauseated. Hate that you're feeling this way...It's so frustrating! Hope we get to feeling better soon :)
  • I've lost close to 10 pounds. I've gotten to the point where I'll try anything just to see if it stays down. I can't drink anything carbonated, eat ginger or anymore crackers, they all make me puke. Actually, if someone suggests crackers to me one more time, I might throat punch them. Here's what stays down for me:

FiberOne bars (I take Zofran, so these are a helper with constipation)

Kashi Whole Wheat Biscuits - Island Vanilla

    Peaches, Cantaloupe & Musk Melon

Plain spaghetti with a little butter & Parmesan cheese

Swiss cheese (this stinks, but amazingly... it stays down!)

    Ice water

Minute Maid Mixed Berry Juice or Cran-Raspberry Juice sometimes

  • EVERYONE tells me to eat crakers so I completly understand! I'm like crackers do not help for me, nothing has helped so far! But I will go out and get someof the things that you are able to keep down and see if maybe it will help me out. I will try anything right about now because I am miserable.

I appreciate you ladies comments, Im happy Im not alone :-)
