I had a c-section 4 1/2 years go with my daughter and realize these days it's harder to find a doctor to do a vbac. Does anyone know what criteria doctors look for to allow you to have one? I only had one before because I had pre-eclampsia and it was an emergency.
Re: Good candidate for vbac?
Barring an emergency like you had before, you are most likely a great candidate for a VBAC. The first thing I would do is try to find a supportive provider through your local ICAN chapter.

Some docs will allow them, but really aren't supportive and will have strict criteria for "allowing" a VBAC. Those are the ones you want to avoid!
