Hey everyone,
I'm a regular over on the SAHM board but we are going to try for baby #3 soon so I thought I'd come over here to say hello and see what I can learn.
One question I have is about those of you that have used shettles method to conceive a girl and it's been successful... How many days pre-ovulation did you do the deed? And was it just once? TCOYF says try 2-4 days before ovulation, but I'm unclear about whether we can only do it once in this time frame or if she means 4 days out and then again 2 days out.
Thanks!

"Just keep swimming, just keep swimming..."
Yeah I wondered if I was asking in the wrong place... and I've noticed this board deifnitely has an "edge", for lack of a better word.
Well I didn't mean to offend anyone, I just thought there may be some mamas on here that have 1 or more kids and would share their wisdom... no biggie.
Thanks for your insight though!
all this. I might get flamed for saying THIS but if you go the website in-gender.com there is a lot of information about gender selection. You might find more support there.
That being said..we have 2 girls. #1 we had sex 4 days pre ovulation [and not again until after O] and with #2 we had sex 5 days pre ovulation [and not again until after O]. Not intentional..but I guess shettles was "true" for us.
Yeah...any baby would be a welcome baby around here and we are newbies around here...maybe there is a better board for this elsewhere....like one of the Babies..." boards.
sorry but I had to comment on your siggy..is that the weirdo 16 year old who married the 51 year old? I remember this clip from the Soup lol.
Thanks, this is helpful.
And for the record, we would be thrilled with either sex. Healthy is the main goal. We have 2 boys and love them. 3 would be a blast.
Oh...yeeeees...I love her...they are my favorite...it;s like the best/worst David Lynch movie come to life...with clear bra straps! Always and only clear bra straps.
Ha! Yeah you just never know right? I am not super focused on having a girl, but think it'd be fun to switch it up.
Especially b/c this will be our third and last (whoa).
I am not familiar at all with shettles, but wanted to share that if you sign up for fertility friend, they have message boards and one of them is exclusively for "swaying". I only lurked there briefly, but you might find it hepful. They have a lot of threads on how to sway toward a specific gender when TTC.
He's my fairytale, a dream when I'm not sleeping.

I have two boys and am hoping for a girl this time around, too! Good luck!
With that said, we didn't want it to take months and months of trying, so we figured we'd just bd as much as we could and close to O, and boy or girl, we'll be happy.

I also have to say that I love your siggy. I am mesmerized by her "sexy" eyes and her buttaface.
