When do you get it (if you get it) in relation to ovulation?

I have been on birth control for a LONG TIME so these past few months have been my first O pain in a while. Last cycle, I had it around the time my OPK was positive, CD 16, and it was SO G.D. PAINFUL I could barely work out and sex was SO painful. (not sure how this helps you conceive, if sex is so painful!)

The two cycles before it was a more throbbing dull pain for a few days around O.

I had really bad cramping im assuming was o pain for me on sat and sun by monday it was basicaly gone. Right now ff says i O'ed on monday but if my temp is high again in am it will change it to tuesday. So i had them o-3 o-2 i believe

I am not regular, but I get mild crampy and nausea about 2 weeks before my period comes.

Last month was the first time I really noticed it. Before it just felt like mild, dull cramping. But, last month I had a terrible pain, it felt like someone was jabbing me with a pencil or something for about 2 hours. It showed that I O'd the next day. I don't know why it was really bad all of a sudden. But, my big sign of O is that my breasts get really, really sore.

THIS is what I feel every single month! It feels like someone grabbed my ovary and pinched the hell out of it! People think I'm crazy when I say I can feel it, but I do every month. My mom feels it too. I am usually crampy for a day or so after O.

I never realized that it was uncommon to feel it until I joined this board.  My mom does too, so I just assumed everyone did,
