Vaginal Twitching

It seems like my vagina 'twitches' sometimes.  It's very slight, but I do notice it.  It's on the labia, and when it happens I don't feel cramps or anything.  Has anyone else experienced this?

Re: Vaginal Twitching

  • I'm not making fun, but the title of your post cracks me up.  Can't say that I've felt that (yet) but does it remind you of when your eye-lid twitches due to lack of sleep?  Like a quick little twitch that comes and goes and annoys the heck out of you?
  • Loading the player...
  • No twitching but I have had brief stabs of pain, they are quick and then gone, don't know what either one is about though, I am not much help huh?

No worries, I know I'm setting myself up with a title like that!  But seriously, it's JUST like eyelid twitches.  It's SO very slight I think if I didn't have the history I do, I never would have noticed them.  I wasn't worried about them at all, and then I got to thinking maybe my YI and BV, although I'm having no more symptoms, are somehow SO advanced they are making this happen.  I still am worried about that.  I feel like my imagination runs away from me a lot.  I wish I could catch it and stop worrying!  But no harm in asking, you know, in the offchance that I was right!

ETA:  Oh, and speaking of eyelids...I was thinking about how it's like an eyelid twitch and I thought about writing this post earlier.  I was going to title it "my whispering eye is twitching."  Ever seen Role Models?  (If not, rent it, it's funny!)

  • Girl, there is so much happening in your crotch. You should be a research subject.

Awe, I'm sorry its got you worried. Maybe put in a call to the doctor in the morning. I hope its nothing to worry about and that everything is just fine. BTW, I haven't seen Roll Models so I'll have to check it out. I love a good laugh. HUGS.
  • Okay, definitely laughed when I read the title of this post. But I've had a crummy day and needed the laugh, so thanks.

Anyways, to answer your question, I've experienced this, and yes it is weird. But it's also completely normal. It's happened after I've worked out, so I'm assuming it's due to increased blood flow.
