BJCs questionS

2 questions How do the car seat attachments work with chicco seats? Do they snap in or is it more like the dsng where you have to wedge it in and use the straps to buckle? Is it small enough to gate check on an airplane (and in general small enough and good for travel?) I'm annoyed with the dsng and considering getting a bjcs but i would rather not have to get another stroller for travel/in the car (was planning on getting an umbrella stroller in the long run) Thanks!

Re: BJCs questionS

  • I don't know about the chicco car seat but yes you can gate check a BJCS. Get a bag for it though so you can pop the seats off when you fold it down. Although I have to say, if I was traveling w/ my kids still in infant seats I'd just use the DSNG. It's so easy/light. Oh and American Airlines is limiting the weight of gate checked strollers to 25lbs. But if you fly another airline you should be fine.
  • I read on one website (can't remember which one) that the adapters don't work so great and you have to use straps still.  However, I know nothing about strollers so I can't say firsthand.  I'm hoping that when we go to Buy Buy Baby to look at strollers they'll be able to give me some more information on the BJCS versus the Chicco Cortina Together strollers.
