Hi ladies! For those of you who work at home, can I ask what you do or how you found your job? I'm a Virtual Assistant and I recently just lost a client (due to her business going under) and she was the majority of my income. I've been looking to venture out doing something else, but I have no idea where to even start! If you could let me know what you do and how you found your job, I'd love to hear!
Re: WAHM Question
I don't currently work from home, but I did for about a year as a freelance journalist. If you're a decent writer, you can write about your area of expertise in a variety of different ways. The pay isn't great, at first, but the more you build, the better it can become.
If you're interested, feel free to PM me for info.
I literally just upgraded my laptop so I could get into virtual assisting and now you're making me feel a bit discouraged about the available opportunities I thought was out there!
I have a business idea but I had planned on doing virtual assisting until my business started gaining speed.
I'm sorry! Don't be discouraged! I have (had) 3 clients, now 2. I lucked into my first one since a friend of mine knew someone who was looking for help. I worked for two months marketing until I got my second one, and then a month after that till I got my third. Finding clients is definitely the hardest part of the job. If you work hard, have references, and are qualified then you should find success in no time
