I know a lot of our kiddos were starting school this week...how did your preschooler's first day go?
DS did really great. He went in with no problem, used the potty at school with no accidents, and said he had fun and wanted to go back next week. He was crying a little when I went to pick him up, but the teacher said it was more a domino-effect cry (another child fell down and then a few started crying together).
Re: Your PSer's first day!
Things went great for my girls their first week. They only go 2 mornings a week for 3 hours a day, but I think this a perfect transition for them since they have been at home with me for so long. Next year they go 5 mornings a week.
No tears from them and talking about school all the time.
If you find the bubble, let my know! DD was throwing up after school yesterday. I hope that our luck will change, but I doubt it.
Despite her current illness, she had an awesome first week! No issues at drop off and she was excited to see me when I picked her up. I am hoping she feels herself by her next school day, which is Tuesday.

This is our 2nd year in pre-k but it was just as nice
Harmon loves school. Like others I wish we could find that bubble. Here was Harmon this year and last year. He is growing so much!

My guys started their second year of preschool today. It went great! No tears, no hesitation. The teacher said they came in and did the routine - like they'd never left for summer.
Much better than last year when N. fell on his way in and smacked his forehead on the side walk. I left him, still crying, sitting in an aid's lap with an ice pack on his head. We had no where to go but up after that.
My twins are 5! My baby is 3!
