I have cut back on CL (I'm usually an addict). they also make CL pure which uses stevia and a bit of sugar, I believe. that could be a better alternative, if you are ok with stevia during PG (which I am).
I have had it once or twice while preggo, but mainly cuz it sounded SO good. I cut out artificial sweeteners too, but the occasional CL won't hurt you I'm sure. :-) That being said....I really like the CL Pure. I have some of the small packets of it, and it is really tasty. I will have to get more once I'm out. It gives me my CL fix without the nasty artificial sweeteners. :-)

I'm in the "everything in moderation" crowd on this one. Every now and then it probably won't hurt, but don't replace all of your water intake with crystal light.
I'm a HUGE Diet Coke nut, so I've just stopped drinking it all together because of the caffeine and artificial sweeteners. A lifesaver for me is lemon and hot water. LOVE.

I stay away from artificial sweeteners even when not pregnant. Natural sweeteners are so much better for your body. I hope that you at least drink some pure water. Because it's not really water anymore after all those chemicals go in.

If you have questions in regards to artificial sweetners (safe or not safe), you can check out this site:

Lots of helpful info!
I've done this as well for personal reasons. Whether or not you have the artificial sweeteners is up to you and your doctor.

oh i don't know, having a crystal light sounds awful risky to me. Awful risky indeed.
Now if you were talking about crystal METH, well I'd be all over that. mm-hmmm.
oh really? interesting. Can you explain the scientific process by which crystal light converts H2O into something else? just curious.
