I did get a weekly report of what they are doing this week and looks about on par with what I'd expect.
DD also told me to keep my arms at my sides and keep my hands to myself when I was trying to wrangle her into brushing her teeth this morning - so I guess they are teaching classroom rules/expectations. I feel better now.

DD tells me to keep my hands to myself all the time. She also tells me to use my "listening ears." It's especially funny because she speaks to me in Spanish most of the time, but says these phrases in English, exactly as she learned them at school.
I'm glad you're feeling better about things. It's hard to not know what's reasonable to expect or not.
Interestingly, DH hates the emphasis on distinguishing between "pretend" and "real." When DD says something is "pretend" food, for example, he corrects her and says, no, it's not people food and you can't eat it, but the object you're holding is very real.
I kind of get what he is saying, but I don't get involved.
