Anyone Else Get Sexed Out?

Prior to TTC MH and I typically have sex on average 2X a week.  Since TTC we have sex for 5 days in a row during my fertile window.  And by day 4 or 5 of our sexathon I tend to feel pretty "sexed out".  I mean, I still enjoy it and I love all the intimacy with MH, i'm just a little dryer and a little sore down there and a bit more tired afterwards.   This post is not a complaint by any means I promise, it's just an observation.  If we had to do it 20 nights in a row to get pg, we would, no questions asked.  I am just curious if anyone else experiences this at all.  I think for me, my body was used to sex every few days and so to go 5 nights in a row might just effect me a little more.

We try to do it EOD until about 5DPO...

That usually helps, as you get a day break in between and you are both charged up again ...

Last month on 1 ttc by day 4 of ed I was like is this over yet lol.

This month we are going to do eod. I just feel like it it to much pressure and takes the fun out of it. Who knows...You only have but so much control over it anyway.

Yeah, if we don't get pg this cycle, maybe we will do EOD next month.  But throw an extra session in there if our off day falls on temp dip day, lol.

Yes... who knew getting pg would be such hard work? DH and I tried to do EOD last month and we failed miserably due to being so busy and tired. This month I am dedicated though! Gotta make it work somehow!

This is our 7th cycle and I decided this cycle that we needed to have a lot more sex. I'm pretty damn sexed out. I'm especially tired because I thought I had O'd on CD13 so we humped like damn rabbits but then I came to realize NOPE it was probably CD 19 or 20 so back at it we've went! This month has been the most sex we've had in a LONG time. DH said last night it reminded him of back when we first started dating. He's delusional, I didn't put out like this in the beginning, but whatever he wants to tell himself lol So to answer your questions, yes, I am sexed out too!

My husband was DEFINATELY "sexed out" this month, I think he was even a little glad to move to evening shift on Monday afternoon so that he could get a break!  I don't mind too much right now, because we are in the 2WW but his shift will become problematic soon enough...

Totally.  MH and I definately had much more sex when we first started dating, but NEVER 5 days in a row!!  Lol.

Not TTC, (and pre baby..) we average eod as it is, sometimes more than once a day, we are freaks.

But my point is, the more you do it, the more you get used to doing it a lot.  And the less you do it the more you get used to that too.  IMO.  With DD, we have sex a lot less, the more days in between, the less I care.  But now that we are ttc, we are back to at least eod, and it was hard at first, now not so bad.

You're not alone. It's exhausting! My doc suggested EOD starting on Day 7, so we're going to try that instead. GL!
