Thinking of you. One of my girlfriends had her water break at 31 weeks and delivered her son at 32 weeks (labor day!), and he is great and healthy. My husband's other friend had his baby come 3.5 months early, and now she is a happy 3 year old. Sending all of these positive vibes your way.

Baby Cameron is sure trying to scare the he!! Out of y'all. I'm so sorry that things are rough for you right now! Praying she keeps cooking at least for a couple more weeks(but we'd all prefer longer!)
T&P that your LO stays put. 24 weeks is a huge milestone, but I completely understand being scared about what's to come. You are in all of our thoughts.
Lots of thoughts for you and the baby!!! As I've mentioend before my water broke early (33w) and I was able to stay on bedrest for another week before I was induced - so even if your water breaks, you can still possibly prolong the delivery.
However, I know its really early for you so please take care of yourself!!! If you haven't already check out the Preemie board here, there are other women who have been in your shoes before that have healthy, happy babies.
It's fantastic that you made it to 24 weeks, first of all. We are all thinking of you and baby and hoping she can hang in there awhile longer. Hang in there mama!

Hang in there! Many women go for weeks being 2 cm dilated. Getting to the 24 week mark is huge. Every day that goes by she is getting stronger and stronger.
Hang in there!! Each day you get through is better for the baby than the one before. Do they have you in trendelenburg position (feet higher than head)?
Im sorry the update you got wasnt what you were hoping for girl:( But 24 weeks is a HUGE milestone and you and your docs are doing everything humanly possibly to prepare this baby for the outside world. I really think she will be A ok! In any case I am praying for you every day and you are on my heart all the time. I cant imagine how nerve racking and hard this has been for you, but I pray for even just a few more weeks on the inside for you girl! But either way, at least we know at this point IF she comes earlier than hoped she should be just fine with some help. It isnt ideal or what anyone wants, and Im SO sorry you have to go through it, but things are looking much better right now then they were even a week ago! Praying everyday that your bean stays inside for just a little while longer!

So sorry to hear it was not great news, fingures crossed that baby stays put for as long as possible.
Diagnosed with Anti little c antibodies. DS1 7.11.11 - Anaemia and Jaundice. 10 days in the NICU, 1 exchange transfusion and 4 blood transfusions. DS2 29.8.13 - Anaemia 7 days in the NICU and 1 exchange transfusion. Both are now happy and healthy.
I'm very sorry to hear this current update, but I am still hopeful that you won't deliver anytime soon. Sometimes things can go wrong left and right, and the end outcome can still be great! That's the mind frame I have for you, and I will continue to send thoughts and prayers to you, your family, and your LO!
I'm still always here if you ever need/want to PM me! Sending you love from Seattle!
Not that we ever want people to become part of the "club" but I belong to a wonderful online group of preemie mamas. Should that be the case for you and you would like support, definitely pm me and I can set you up right away. There are many momma's on there with babies born at 24 weeks and up whose babies are doing fantasically. Thinking of you!
