Hey- I have not been on here in a long time. I have been busy with my little girl, but I just found out I am 8 weeks pregnant and I am a bit freaked out! It was, to say the least, a "surprise." I am excited and like I said a bit freaked out at the same time. I am starting to feel morning (all day) sickness. Any tips to help with morning sickness and my little one. Any one else with me?
Re: Freaked out! PG again!
Congrats!
We're done! I suppose a surprise is always possible, but we're totally done with the planned babies.
Seriously, try Seabands. You can wear them all the time, and still be able to take care of your LO while wearing them.
Good luck!!
Congrats!!
I found out I was pregnant again when my DD was 4 months old. We were completely surprised too! As someone who has just gotten through the 1st trimester yuckiness make sure you nap as often as you can when you LO is down and if your morning sickness is too bad don't be afraid to ask for something to help it. My morning sickness was a million times worse with this one and it still hasn't completely gone away. I think I'm still in shock that I'm pregnant again!
Congratulations again! Good Luck!!

I know you two probably hear this all the time, but trust me- this isn't the end of the world. I know it sucks, my H nearly missed my 1st daughter's birth because of a deployment but she came a little early, so he was able to be there. He did miss the next few months of her life, though. It is hard, I can't lie. But, what made me and him feel much better about it was sending him pictures daily. And emailing videos, which he loved. And, I'd send him a small wallet photo of my then almost 2yr old son and our first baby girl and so he had an updated picture all teh time of them. When your H comes home, yes he'll have missed all the sweet snuggly newborn stuff, but he'll come home when his daddy really can enjoy him- smiles, rolling, laughing, etc.
Have you bought that book at Halmark or wherever that you can record a voice reading the story? Make your H record himself reading it, and every night play it for the baby either in utero or outside. At least your baby will recognize daddy's voice when he comes home.
there is not much you can do in the way of dealing with the morning sickness. You kind of throw up when you have to, lay down when you have to and tote your baby with you. I have been there and it is really difficult when you are laying on the bathroom floor and have your baby in the bumbo next to you but what are you going to do. Eat before you get out of bed (eat a few crackers or something) wear seabands and if it is bad like mine was request Zofran because there is no reason functioning like that.
Congrats and you are in for quite a ride
