Well that was a good babysitter

I found a new babysitter and tried her out this evening. . . I did my usual, have her come over and hang out with us for 30-45 minutes and if I feel comfortable, I go to the gym and take a class for an hour.

The kids LOVED her.  Leif actually cried when she left.

She made them dinner AND cleaned up and did the dishes afterwards.  Plus it didn't look like a bomb went off in the house. . . yes, it looked like they played, but it was also clear that she picked up as they went.

You're HIRED!

    Nice! How did you find her?  I desperately need someone.

    craigslist. . . I know not everyone is comfortable with that, but I've had great experiences finding sitters there.

    It was funny, one of her friends texted her 5 mintues after getting here to make sure I wasn't an axe murderer.  I think that's cool.
