This is my second so I doubt I'll be registering, but with my first I registered at Target and Babies R Us. BRU has a better in store selection that Target, but tends to be more expensive unless you have a coupon.
With my first pregnancy I did both. I primarily did my large items at Babies R Us and smaller essentials and clothes at Target. I found in the past that people tended to buy from Target out of convenience of their location. Once you have your baby, BRU will send you a coupon (I believe 15% off) to use towards anything that was not purchased from your registery. This is my second pregnancy and I have been encouraged to register, as my church is throwing me a shower. I will only be doing Target this time.
