It's SO hard keeping an eye on three crawlers and I'm considering helmets for all the bonked noggin's. What are you thoughts if you've used one and am I not thinking of any negatives to helmets?

Re: Has anyone used a helmet for crawlers?
LOL, I'd be lying if I said that thought never crossed my mind. But I just looked at it as part of the learning curve. I admit, there were days I feared that they were one head bump away from severe brain damage, but in the end everyone's doing okay, and they have learned pretty good balance along the way
I'm currently considering putting a little pillow in the back of their pants though. They are falling on their little tushes a lot these days.

I've read that this can be a problem for the following reason. When kids wear helmets (like the ones for plagiocephely) they can knock their heads into anything and it doesn't hurt. When the helmet is removed, they smack their heads into stuff thinking it'll be ok.
I'd just ride it out. For us, the boys seemed to smack their heads into things for a couple months and now seem to have learned not to do that.
GL!
