Bladder infection while pregnant?

Has anyone had a bladder infection while pregnant?  My dr prescribed me 2 weeks of macrobid and I have just seen some mixed reviews about taking it.  Has anyone had to take it before?  Do you know if its safe?  Thanks!

I had one VERY bad one at 19 weeks (rapidly turned in to a kidney infection) I *think* I took macrobid for it and I dont recall having any issues

Agh, I take it back. I just remembered having a bad experience with macrobid and having to switch antibiotics. It made me feel really off, sick, and I thought I might have been allergic until I saw side effects online. Hope that helps

I took it for 10 days, 2x a day. It is safe for pregnancy. UTI's can be bad so you def need to take it. A kidney infection/failure would be a lot worse...
