-Ergo -Upholstered Glider Recliner (we got a Best Chair from the storytime series and it's wide enough that DD1 can sit with me, while I nurse DD2) -Baby Gates (having a childproof room is key) -Double Stroller (we love being outside, so the BOB Revolution Duallie was a must for our lifestyle) -More PJs, while DD2 had cute newborn/0-3 outfits, I preferred having her in sleepers.
Depending on sleep arrangements, you may want a sound machine for baby and/or toddler.
3. Double stoller (I need to go on walks/runs for my sanity)
4. Good sound machines for both of them so they didn't wake each other up
The rest of it (crib, blankets, clothes, etc are personal preference). Mostly you just need to take a deep breath and have a good attitude about everything. It is stressful early on, but doable.

I would never leave the house if I did not have my double City Mini stroller. I agree with whoever said more bottles (or pumping supplies) because you won't be able to wash things as quickly. Same goes for clothes and blankets. Lots of gates to keep your older child in or out of rooms. Even now (8months in) DD#1 loves to be with DD#2 and we needed to put a gate up to keep DD#1 out of DD#2's room at naptime.

1. A SENSE OF HUMOR
2. A safe place for DD to play while I nursed DS

1. Something to wear the baby- whatever you are most comfortable with Moby was my preference for newborn phase.
2. Sound machines for both rooms (this is critical in my opinion)
3. If you are bottle feeding, lots of bottles in case you don't have time to wash and sterilize them as often as you did with DC#1
DEFINITELY a baby carrier, whether it be for inside the house or for going for a quick walk/to the park without having to bust out the double stroller
Well, crap. I am screwed.
1- A carrier that baby can sleep in that wont hurt your back.
2-Fisher price rock and play sleeper....LOVE that thing.
3-sound machines
4-crayons/stickers/books for LO1 if they are old enough.
5-good double stroller
6-extra wipes and diapers in various spots around the house.
7. somewhere to put baby in the bathroom like a boucny when you give LO1 a bath.
8-a camera--the moments go by fast the second time.
9-extra tylenol and meds so you dont have to go out in the middle of the night when someone is stick
10-an extra crib was a must have for us.
