Nap time foiled again (vent)

Why is it that as soon as I put K down for a nap the neighbourhood gets noisy?

There is a digger at one next door neighbour's house crunching up a shed, there is a table saw screaming at the other next door neighbour's and one screaming across the alley.  There is also construction 2 doors over on a new search and rescue storage garage.  Thankfully the construction on a ATV dealer across the highway has finished.  The digger is so loud that I am on one side of my house watching it and I can hear it coming through the monitor all the way from the far side of the house.

With all this noise I have to keep nursing K back down every 20 minutes. GRRRRR
