Hey Jellisy

What is up?  We had the air conditioning on yesterday because the humidity and heat were uncomfortable and I am contemplating turning on the heat tonight.  I am all for starting fall in September, but for heaven's sake, give me some time to change up my closet and some shoulder weather to bridge the season with.  This is crazy (and annoying because the weather people were so off with their temperature predictions this week).

I agree. I went out for lunch today and I was so cold. I felt bad for my kids because I sent DD#1 to daycare in shorts and a t-shirt and DD#2 in a onesie. Hopefully the DCP kept them inside most of the day.

On Saturday we went to the farm and the hour-by-hour forecast said 0% chance of rain for the whole day. We started driving there and it was pouring rain so I looked at the weather on DH's phone and it still said 0% chance of rain for that hour. I find the weather forecasts to be pretty frustrating for that reason.

We are all inappropriately dressed today as well.  DH dressed DS in a tank top short-all.  I ran back inside after bringing him to the car this morning and grabbed pants and a hoodie for DCP.  I am sure they will be inside all day, DCP doe not like cold damp weather.  DD had on jeans and a t shirt.  Hopefully they stay inside too, but the preschool makes every effort to take them out if possible.

DS had a onesie on all day too. I brought a blanket when I picked him up at least, but I felt like a bad mom all day for dressing him all wrong!

My first graders were all freezing all day, though a few managed to bring a jacket on the first day of school - not something they usually need now! I too dressed DS terribly...when I picked him up he had on a jacket we left at DCP at some point during early spring - glad it still fit, but I have to find one for myself tonight too!

The cruelest part is that the forecast keeps changing. I keep looking ahead at the forecast, getting excited about nice days for things like the zoo... and then seeing rain added to the forecast as the day gets closer.
