1st birthday outing ideas?

Can't believe DD is already turning 1! DH and I are going to take her on a (rare) family outing for her birthday later this week. We don't get to do many things as a family with both of us working and him in law school at night. So this is a special treat.

What do you ladies think would be fun for DD?

 Oh and hi...I haven't been on here much at all lately! Life's been insane!

DS is 14 months. The zoo has become a favorite, he loves cars, trucks and trains, so anything featuring those are a huge deal for us. Parks are fun, pools are awesome. Is she into anything in particular? At one it can be so simple and still be so fun! There's always the Children's museum too (although I haven't been there, not sure how much DS would get out of it yet).

We took our girls to Como Zoo for their 1st birthday.  We ended the day with a special ride on the carousel and they loved it!  The zoo is small enough to see it all in a relatively short amount of time, without any cost.

We took DD to The Children's Museum for her first birthday.  She also loves the zoo.
